Description
We are looking for energetic sports loving people to join the team of OLS coordinators. If you play in our leagues, you know that the atmosphere we create is the key to our success. Coordinators not only ensure the games run smoothly but are there to create a fun social atmosphere that gets players excited. They play a key role in ensuring equipment is set up, teams know who and when they play and pumping the tunes setting the tone for an awesome night of game play.
Responsibilities
Positive atmosphere – ensure players are having fun! Turn the music on, engage with players, and encourage socializing during and after the games.
OLS Promo - keep our members informed by promoting upcoming programs, contests, news and upcoming events.
Game play – ensure games start/end on time and teams know who they are playing. Attend to any issues and offer supportive guidance (injuries or disagreements between players/teams).
Rules – familiarize yourself with game rules and be prepared to answer any questions.
Equipment – set up/tear down and bring equipment when necessary, report any missing or damaged items.
Reporting – gather scores at the end of each game and enter them correctly at the end of the night.
Facilities – work with the facilities staff to ensure the site is ready for game play and it’s left in the same condition when players leave.
